DONATE $1 FOR EVERY MILE TOMMY WILL RUN

Tommy Is Running 26.2 Miles So You Don't Have To (You're Welcome)

Let's be honest: most of us are not going to run a marathon. But Tommy is — voluntarily, at 7 AM, in Spokane weather that can't decide if it's winter or spring. The least we can do is throw some money at the opportunity.

Tommy's hitting the pavement for the Spokane Marathon to raise $10,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Inland Northwest — an organization that matches kids with mentors who show up for them, again and again (kind of like Tommy showing up for training runs he definitely complained about).

Here's the deal: Pledge $1 for every mile you think Tommy will actually finish. Confident he's got the full 26.2 in him? Bet on it. Think he'll be power-walking by mile 20, questioning his life choices? Also a valid bet — donate anyway, because it's for the kids, not for his ego.

Every dollar helps BBBS pair more youth in our community with mentors who stick around for the long run (pun very much intended).

26.2 miles. One good cause. Zero chance Tommy backs out now that it's in writing.

Pledge your $1-per-mile and help us hit $10,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Inland Northwest.
